Dr. Queen Dube is a consultant pediatrician and clinical epidemiologist currently serving as the Newborn Health Program Lead at WHO Headquarters in Switzerland. Formerly Malawi’s Chief of Health Services, she has led national efforts to improve care for small and sick newborns, including developing Malawi’s Every Newborn Action Plan. Dr. Dube has worked with WHO, UNICEF, and other partners across Africa to strengthen neonatal care through strategy development, training, and hospital-based innovations. She has also led and contributed to major research initiatives, including NEST360, aimed at reducing neonatal mortality, and serves on multiple technical advisory panels for neonatal health.
