Brent Moellenberg is the Director of Engineering at We Care Solar, a non-profit organization which designs, manufactures, and distributes the Solar Suitcase - a small solar power and lighting system specifically designed for use in maternal health centers throughout the developing world.  Brent is an engineer who especially enjoys working in the renewable energy field, and has over 20 years experience implementing solar power in low-resource settings.  He joined We Care Solar in 2010, and since that time has been in charge of designing, sourcing, and manufacturing the Solar Suitcases which are currently being used in over 9,000 health clinics worldwide.  Brent also regularly travels to the countries where the Solar Suitcases are used, to train engineers and technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of the equipment.
