Annual Convening

The Center for Innovation and Translation of Point-of-Care Technologies for Equitable Cancer Care (CITEC) is a collaboration of engineers, oncologists, and international global health partners developing and disseminating point-of-care (POC) technologies to detect and treat cancer. Our collaboration spans three continents and seven organizations, including prominent partnerships within Brazil and Mozambique, Rice360 Institute for Global Health Technologies, Baylor College of Medicine, and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Learn more about our mission here.

Join us on Monday, November 11, through Tuesday, November 12, for our first Annual Convening, which will bring together engineers, oncologists, and international global health partners to network with our collaborative research team. The meeting will be hybrid, with in-person meetings at the Bioscience Research Collaborative on the Rice University Campus.
