Angie Pargas, RN, BSN, IBCLC, C-EFM has been a nurse since 2005 and has dedicated her entire nursing career to labor and delivery and postpartum care.  Originally from Kansas, she earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Garden City Community College in 2005 and began her career at her local community hospital.  

In 2009, Angie moved to Texas and joined Uvalde Memorial Hospital, where she continues to serve women and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012, became an International Board Certified Lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2021, and was appointed RMOMS Clinical Coordinator the same year, serving in that role until 2024. During her time as the RMOMS Clinical Coordinator, Angie provided childbirth education to patients and families and was instrumental in the development and implementation of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) telehealth visits for her hospital.  She also serves as the Neonatal Designation Program Manager, helping lead initiatives to improve the quality and safety of neonatal care.  In 2024, she was promoted to OB Manager, where she is passionate about improving maternal and newborn outcomes through education, teamwork evidence-based care.

Outside of work Angie has been married for 28 years and is a proud mother of two sons and one daughter.  In her spare time she enjoys reading and staying active outdoors with her family. Whether it’s walking, running, fishing or cheering on her children at their sporting events, she values spending quality time with her family.
