About
Each year, Rice360 and its African partners host IvE Networkwide Design Competition. Co-organized by Rice360 and IvE Design Studio managers, the event brings together student engineering teams from university design studios across Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, and Nigeria. Selected semifinalists showcase creative, low-cost innovations to address newborn and maternal health challenges, presenting their projects through videos and posters. The competition showcases student-led innovation, driving locally relevant engineering solutions for global health challenges.
