Fabio Coracin practices in Barretos, Brazil. His top areas of expertise are Pyogenic Granuloma, Fanconi Anemia, Congenital Aplastic Anemia, Osteotomy, and Bone Marrow Transplant. His clinical research includes a focus on oral cancers. He is an attending doctor at the Department of Dentistry and Department of Pathology at the Barretos Cancer Hospital and actively participates in the Head and Neck Cancer Research Group.

He graduated in Dentistry from Lins School of Dentistry, Methodist University of Piracicaba (2000). He received a master’s degree in clinical medicine at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2005) and PhD in Dentistry, area of Oral Pathology at the University of São Paulo (2009 and a specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from the Federal Council of Dentistry (2012), Oral Medicine and Clinical Diagnosis in Dentistry. He currently shares with Dr Victor Tieghi Neto the position of Head and Coordinator of the Department of Dentistry at Fundação Pio XII -Barretos Cancer Hospital and Coordinator and Preceptorship of the Residency in Dentistry (Cancer Care) and Preceptorship of the Multidisciplinary Residency in Dentistry (Oncology ICU) of the Cancer Hospital of Barretos. He completed an internship as a visiting fellow at the Dental Service of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, USA (2013).
