Kim Bennion Headshot

Kim Bennion, MsHS, RRT, CHC, FAARC, is Enterprise Director of Research for Respiratory, Sleep, and EEG Clinical Services at Intermountain Health. She is a registered respiratory therapist with more than 48 years of clinical experience and leads research focused on respiratory care innovation, remote patient monitoring, artificial intelligence, chronic pulmonary diseases and sleep disordered breathing.

Her scholarly work includes more than 52 authored/co-authored abstracts and peer-reviewed publications, including the iCARE study manuscript recently submitted for publication. Kim received the 2014 Charles W. Serby COPD Research Fellowship, was named the AARC’s 2018 Specialty Practitioner of the Year and was inducted as a Fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care in 2022. In 2024, she and her team received the HIMSS Davies Global Award for using technology to improve patient care.
