Kristie Wilburn-Wren, MD, FACOG

Kristie R. Wilburn-Wren, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in obstetrics and benign gynecology, especially complex cesarean sections, tubal sterilization, and obstetric care for the underserved. Dr. Wilburn-Wren earned her medical degree at East Tennessee State University. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She is the Medical Director of Labor and Delivery Triage at Parkland Memorial Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She serves on several committees at UT Southwestern, including those for OB/GYN Peer Review, Perioperative Optimization, and OB/GYN Clinical Competency.
