Submission Guidelines
We encourage you to embrace full freedom to send us works that inspire change, critique the norm, or disrupt health inequities. That is the point. Global health needs your voice and unfiltered stories from the field.
There are no restrictions on who can submit. The only requirement is that your work is related to global health. We would especially love to hear from leaders, professionals, and students involved in global health.
Submissions are due by August 19, 2024 at 12:00PM CT (5:00PM GMT) - EXTENDED DEADLINE
360View is currently accepting submissions for the following categories:
- Prose/Short Fiction
- Nonfiction
- Poetry
- Visual Art
- Includes but not limited to illustrations, digital art, and comics
- Photography
- Minimum 300 dpi
- If human subjects are involved, their consent is necessary before sharing
You may submit one or multiple works across multiple categories without any effect on acceptance. However, we urge you to select your best work rather than submitting a large portfolio. Submit each piece on a separate form entry.
We will review and select submissions for publication on a rolling basis. For this reason, we suggest submission at your earliest convenience.
What to Expect
We will review and release a decision about your submission by late fall 2024. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to email us.
Our expectation from you is that your submission is entirely original and any co-creators or other contributors have been properly credited.
If your written submission is accepted, an editing process by the 360View staff focused on grammar and formatting will follow. For longer works submitted, we reserve the right to select certain excerpts for publication in the journal. We will not make any changes without your consent. These edits will be finalized through November 2024. Artwork and photography will not be altered.
This publication will be shared publicly online by December 2024 with the global health community at large. We are eagerly looking forward to sharing our forthcoming journals with you.
